If you're having trouble clearing something out of your system, it might be that the issue is not what you think it is.
For example, your boss always asks you for the same information, over and over, even though you have provided it many times before. And what happens? Your anger grows, you feel stressed, and have a miserable time at work.
Is the issue that you don't like a) your boss, b) work, c) people not remembering what you said, or d) you having buttons that are easily pushed?
How often do you get stuck on something and can't clear it, because you're distracted by what appears to be the issue, but isn't?
So next time you're stuck like this, first clarify exactly what that something is by asking “What is this?” This will make sure the next questions you ask will be targeting the right thing!
