예를 들어 당신에겐 절대 변할 수 없을 거라고 생각하는 것이 있나요? 당신이 살아야 하는 곳, 해야하는 공부, 일 또는 누군가를 위해 해야만 하는 것 등 말입니다.

그런데 당신이 무엇이든 바꿀 수 있다면 어떨까요? 그렇다면 가능한 것들은 무엇이며 당신은 무엇을 선택할 건가요?

움직일 수 없다고 느껴지는 막막한 상황과 장소에서 벗어나고 싶다면, 질문하세요. ‘내가 변화시킬 수 없다고 결정내린 것들은 무엇인가?’ 

그리고 마음 속에 떠오르는 것들을 잘 관찰하세요. 어디에서 그리고 어떻게 문제에 자꾸 봉착하는지가 보이기 시작할 때 다시 질문하세요. ‘다른 가능한 것은 무엇이 있을까?’ 그리고‘내가 이것을 바꿀 수 있을까? 어떻게?’
