What have you decided you must keep being/ doing/ having, no matter what? You made a decision, so you'll stick to it even if it kills you. After all, that's the right way to live, isn't it?
Maybe. Or would you prefer another option to killing yourself to prove you're right? What if instead, you created your life by consciously choosing things that contributed to your life in ways you enjoy? How? Ask “If I had 10 seconds to live the rest of my life, what would I choose?” This is not about making random changes for change's sake. The question is designed to remind you what science says: this is a free-will universe and you have choice. You may end up choosing the same thing continuously every 10 seconds, as long as it works. And if one day it doesn't, you'll know and you can choose something else that does.

How much effort do you use to create the study, work, business, relationships, and life you'd like? A lot or a little?
Do you think creating what you'd like must be hard work and controlled, take time, and come with trials and errors, ups and downs? What if, instead, you could create like elegantly? Elegance is the greatest result with the least effort. Would you consider that cheating? Or being smart? If you'd like to generate your life with greater ease, everyday ask "What generative energy, space and consciousness could I be today that would create the life I desire with ease and joy?" This will remind you to BE the energy of your desire, and will unplug you from the push/pull entrainment of the world around you. Then you simply need to be willing to perceive, know, be and receive what the universe shows you. Are you willing to be that aware? Is your life full of ease, joy and abundance?
Not so much? No surprise given how many people seem to enjoy telling you that life must be hard, no fun, and a knock-down-drag-out fight to the death for scarce and dwindling resources. Not to mention the Fear and Terror of The Plague. What if that were not true? If you'd like to find out what else is possible, add this daily mantra to your wake-up routine. "All of life comes to me with ease and joy and glory." Saying this will remind you that how you function in life is your choice. And, if you choose, you can function from ease and joy and glory (exuberant expression and abundance) no matter what is going on. Even when "things go wrong" you can experience them with ease and create any change you desire. It's all of life, the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. Everything is included and nothing as to be a difficulty. The reality is, you always have a choice. If you were in a fire or in another emergency – like, I don't know, a pandemic – would you freeze with fear? Or would you do what was required to keep you and yours safe?
Would you lockdown yourself down in a panic with tears, waiting for the authorities to rescue you (fingers crossed they'll be in time)? Or would you find your own superhero reserves of energy, strength and resilience to sweep up everyone from small children to grandmas and carry them down five flights of stairs beyond the flames to safety, without a fuss in your underwear no matter who was laughing? What are you doing right now? Got your head under the pillow waiting for a knight in shining armour? Or are you looking at all your options, doing your research, finding and listening to experts in their field, considering strategies to create your future, and following what feels light for you? When you were little, was climbing trees scary or exciting? What was your mum's point of view (aaah!!! get down from there!! Wait!!! I'm coming to help you!)? And what about now? What do you think you're afraid of? Are you still listening to your mum? What if you have misidentified this sensation? To find out, ask "Is this fear, or excitement?" Is your sense actually the excitement of a challenge? What if you recognised this distraction? Could you help save someone from a fire? Remember when you were a small child and every day was an adventure? Was your To Do list something like this: wake up, have fun, go to bed (maybe, or just fall asleep mid-play)?
Does your life still have that energy? Is your To Do list now more like: drag myself out of bed, do what I have to, work and drink too much and fall into bed, with a few rants on social media in between? Would you like to reclaim the energy of your child? Rather than resigning yourself to being weighed down by responsibilities and perceived limitations, what if you embraced life as an exciting adventure? If so, wake up every morning and acknowledge you're in charge of creating your day by asking “Who am I today and what grand and glorious adventures can I have?” When you start each day like this, will you have the same old study, job, work, business, family, health or money problems and restrictions? Maybe. Or maybe you'll see new, exciting possibilities that you've never noticed before. |
